Hey, shoutout to the awesome volunteers in Edison, Highland Park, and Metuchen! We've got a bunch of cool stuff lined up for you this weekend – whether you want to learn something new, hang out, or just take a break from the real world. Check out the links for all the deets and dive into the fun ahead! No pressure, just enjoy and decide what tickles your fancy.

Mark your calendars for January 26th! Metuchen High School is turning into a movie haven as they screen Zootopia. But here's the twist – there'll be games galore for the little ones before the movie kicks off at 6:30. It's not just a movie night; it's a whole evening of family fun!

And that's not all that's happening this weekend. On Saturday, the Rutgers Geology Museum is the place to be, and guess what? It's absolutely free! Dive into a mix of activities that are not just educational but also a whole lot of fun for all ages. Meanwhile, over at Good Vibes Cafe, there's a painting party going down. Kids aged 4 and up can unleash their artistic side as they learn to paint a snowman on canvas. Sounds like a creative blast, doesn't it?

As we roll into Sunday, you've got some cool options. Head over to the Metuchen Library to kick off the Lunar New Year celebrations – get ready for the year of the dragon! Or if you're feeling a bit adventurous, Princeton is the place to be for the Wassailing the Apple Tree event. It's a chance to soak in ancient British traditions and sip on some delicious warm apple cider. There is a chance of rain, so call before you leave.
