The Edison Health Department is excited to host Edison’s own farmer’s market every Thursday from 2 pm to 7 pm until October. This market makes it easier for families to enjoy the delicious and nutritious benefits of fresh, locally sourced produce. The shorter the journey from farm to table, the higher the levels of vitamins and minerals.
Residents can look forward to purchasing from the following vendors:
- Based in Chester, NJ, Alstede Farms brings over 250 varieties of fruits and vegetables, along with local eggs, cookies, bread, fresh-pressed cider, plants, home-baked pies, apple cider donuts, and more.
- Jersey Pickles offers a diverse selection of pickles and olives marinated in unique flavors like Sweet Horseradish, Garlic, and Mediterranean.
- Bobey Lou Baked Goods is a small bakery selling a wide assortment of cookies. Every cookie purchased helps fund cookie donations to those needing a smile.
- Since opening in Edison, NJ, in 1952, La Bon Bake Shoppes has been delighting customers with delicious baked goods made using authentic ingredients and techniques.
- A family business since 1957, Maglione Italian Ices offers refreshing Italian ice, hot pretzels, and other sweet treats.
- Other vendors include Brook Hollow Farm, Insanity Kitchen, and Flavor Savior.
